I thought this book was really sparse with info, just a touch on an area with no real personal info thrown in. I could have got most of the info off the Web. And a few of the reviewers said the highlighted places that were more up scale, I agree. Look elsewhere for a book on Florida if you are thinking of retiring in that state.
I should have read the description more carefully before I ordered this "book". At 76 pages, it's really more like a pamphlet than a book. The descriptions for each town are done like a table, with topic headings (e.g. population, hospitals, etc.) and a few lines of generic text underneath (and a lot of blank space in between the topics). Not even the topic headings are the same for each town. What I was looking for was something that would give me a flavor for each town. All you'll find here is generic information that could easily be discovered by scouring the Web. Very disappointed.
Mostly places near or on the water. Would like to see a mix of cities, inland and waterways.
Helpful but not enough information. Pictures of each city and surrounding area would be more helpful

Worth picking this up, provides a wealth of information. Yes I supposeyou could google to get all this info, but I value my time and for$3.99 kindle version I got my moneys worth. Writer givesa good overview of each location. Includes stats for temps throughseasons, rainfall, % whose age 45 over in community, growth overpast decade, Median house and rent prices, amenities area offers.Notes added for unusual characteristics ie, Mt Trashmore a landfilllocated near town. HIghly recommend if considering a move orseasonal stay in Florida.
